Bayou City Performing Arts (BCPA) invites you to play a dynamic and vital role in its financial strength by becoming a member of its prestigious Crescendo Society. The purpose of the Crescendo Society is to recognize those individuals, corporations, organizations, and foundations that make monetary commitments to the Choruses. Your tax deductible gift(s) will be documented and recognized annually in our season programs. Your donation will go far to keep our choruses singing and give us room to grow.

BCPA is a federally recognized 501(c)3 non-profit organization, making your donations (less any benefits) fully deductible to the furthest extent of all applicable tax laws.

There are many different ways to give

Sustaining Gift
Sustaining Gifts are given in regular increments. It’s a dependable source of income for BCPA. By becoming a sustaining member you are committing to a quarterly or monthly pledge to the organization. Not only will this gift maintain the financial integrity of BCPA, but it can also make a larger gift much more affordable. As a sustaining member of the Crescendo Society you choose the day of the month you would like your gift to be processed. BCPA will then process your payments on your schedule making a sustained gift so much easier for your financial planning.

Corporate Matching
Corporate Matching doubles your donation. Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match most charitable contributions made by their employees. Some companies also match gifts made by spouses, children, and retirees. All proceeds from the Matching Gifts program benefit Bayou City Performing Arts. These matches may be dollar-for-dollar or greater. Ask if your company has a Matching Gift Program. If it does, please request a matching gift form from your company’s Human Resources office or corporate website.

Our office then handles the rest of the transaction. You will be recognized for the full amount your own gift plus the corporate match.

Stocks and Other Securities as Gifts
Stock and other securities may be given as a gift and you will receive the market value tax deduction at the time of your gift.

Bequests from Estates
Bequests from personal estates are always welcome. Contact for further information.
