Women's Four-Part Chorus

We are a diverse group of women who come together for one simple purpose – to sing as one voice

The Bayou City Women’s Chorus was the second women’s choral group to emerge from Bayou City Performing Arts. Our sister group, HeartSong, began performing in 1987, and in January of 1991 they proudly performed at the inauguration of Texas Governor Ann Richards; HeartSong dissolved in 2000. The Bayou City Women’s Chorus was established in January 2005, the chorus has grown in numbers from 5 to as many as 65 singers.

If you like to sing, you’ll love singing with Bayou City Women’s Chorus. The chorus is all inclusive in the women who sing with us and in the music we sing. Bayou City Women’s Chorus welcomes new singers to join us for the upcoming season – and what an exciting season it will be! All women are welcome here!

We welcome ALL women singers regardless of age, race, religion, creed, or sexual orientation. We come together to create excellence in choral music. At the same time, we provide a welcoming, loving, nurturing environment for our members and provide a source of pride, unity, and support for our diverse communities. We also have a heck of a lot of fun!

If you are interested in joining the Bayou City Women’s Chorus send us an email and we’ll reach out to you soon.
